DFW Rescue Me is a 501c3 non-profit dog rescue based in the Dallas, Texas area. We do not have any paid employees and do not have a physical facility. All of our dogs are in foster homes as quickly as we can get them there. Our dogs will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and micro-chipped before the Adoption Contract becomes final. The dogs will also be heart worm negative and on preventative. Please understand that we attempt to place our animals in the best possible home for that particular dog, therefore, if we feel the dog and applicant are not compatible, we retain the option to deny an application. We will also offer suggestions if we think there is a better fit for your family. DFW Rescue Me requests a tax deductible donation of $250 for each dog to defray medical and boarding costs, and to further the mission of DFW Rescue Me. We also feel a valid argument can be made that households for whom this amount represents an undue burden may well discover the financial demands of pet ownership a difficult burden as well. We will be collecting applications for each dog for several days with the hope of finding the best possible home. Please be patient as we review the applications. One of our volunteers will be in contact with you as soon as their schedule allows.

Qualifications for adoption:
- Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address.
- Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household.
- Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting.
- Must be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet.
